Dr. Sabrina Corrieri

She holds a PhD in Innovation Management. She has got fifteen-year long experience in Strategic Business Development with Italian SMEs. After her career as manager in several Private Companies she returned to university as Knowledge Transfer Manager. Since 1999 to 2006 she worked in a team of Tor Vergata Science Park supporting the tech transfer activities of Universities and R&D Institutions as analyst in order to defining market and technological scenarios of research results, than as team manager. She specialized in activities and projects aimed at improving the transfer of the research results to the market. Since 2006 she deals with the exploitation of the public research results and technology transfer with particular regard to the support of the Spin-off initiatives. She was involved in Innovation Management and Technology Transfer activities, particular in patenting process of inventions, negotiation of license agreements with industries focusing on Exploitation of research results, Dissemination, and Assessment activities. Currently she is in charge of Spin off and start up Department dealing with IP management, licensing and technology-based company creation. She is focusing on validation of new business ideas based upon exploitation of research results, assessment of spin out project and support to new companies. In particular she deals with the support, creation and development of innovative enterprise, spin off and startup companies. She conducts research and teaching on these issues, collaborating with the Department of Manager and Law and participates in committees and working groups for the evaluation of business projects. She is member of the Commission valorization of the Results of Research and Technology Transfer (CVRTT) of Tor Vergata University. She is Board Member of NETVAL, the Italian Universities and Public Authorities Network for the valorization of results from Public Research.
