He is Deputy of Industry, Mine and Trade Minister for Training, Research & Technology. He is also associate professor at Khajeh Nasireddin Toosi University of Technology and Member of the Board of Trustees in Microelectronic Research and Development Center of Iran (MERDCI), an R&D organization set up by Industrial Development and Renovation Organization (IDRO) and also Former deputy of Technology development and high-tech at IDRO. He also was a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Islamic Parliament of Iran) during the years of 2003 to 2007.
